When I moved to Germany in 2005, I noticed an advertisement in the gym calendar. It was for a
system I had never heard of before. Being a traditional TKD guy I hesitated to join in. Curiosity
finally got the better of me. I joined class with a friend and he spoke nothing but how CH is a
family and how they respect you and will encourage you. After a while, I went to my first
seminar in Valencia Spain and had the great pleasure of meeting Grandmaster Pellegrini. It was
as if I had been one of his students from the beginning. He talked with me about his style and its
roots but most importantly its future and how he wanted me and my fellow practitioners to be a
part of that future. I have been a proud member of the ICHF and ITA ever since and look
forward to many more years of great study.
